Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, formerly known for “Gilmore Girls,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” brings nine final episodes -three this Friday and then one weekly- in which their colorful costumes and sets return, long sequence shots of meticulous choreographic planning and fast-paced vaudeville-style dialogues with up to five or six simultaneous interlocutors.
The story will seek to leave a satisfactory conclusion not only to Midge’s story, which begins the season focused on having her monologue live on one of the biggest late night shows on TV, but to that of a whole chorus of female characters who , each in their own way, try to break free from what is expected of a woman in her time so that they can start making their own decisions.
Best TV Comedy, Best Actress for Brosnahan and Best Supporting Actors for Bronstein and Tony Shalhoub are some of the awards won by the series, which has 20 Emmy Awards from the American Television Academy and several Critics’ Choice and Golden Globe, among others.

The beginning of the fourth season has definitively changed the climate of absurd comedy -which was reserved for characters such as the essential comic relief represented by the fragile Chechen criminal with alopecia Noho Hank (Anthony Carrigan)- for one of a decidedly more bitter tone, in the that the protagonist deals with psychiatric problems and the rejection of his ex-girlfriend, Sally (Sarah Goldberg), and his former acting teacher, Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler).
