We, journalists from 41 journalists’ and editors’ companies, express our full and complete solidarity with the journalists of “Paris Match” faced with a series of unacceptable attacks against their SDJ, the representative body of the editorial staff. Last attack in order, a journalist was summoned Thursday, April 6, for an interview prior to dismissal, and this after the position of the SDJ of “Paris Match” against an editorial by the managing director of the editorial staff, Patrick Mahé, whose the editorial team has dissociated itself. Members of the SDJ also claim to be victims of harassment and intimidation.

Let us remind once again the leaders of “Paris Match” that an SDJ represents all the journalists of an editorial office and that its members act and speak in the name of a collective. They do not have to suffer individually the wrath of a direction.
