Protocol in the Preysler family is so important that it even came up during the last installment of The Anthill. The daughter of the Spanish-Filipino socialite, Tamara Falcó, revealed in her usual gathering with Juan del Val, Nuria Roca, Cristina Pardo and Pablo Motos that in their house they give a lot of importance to small details.
The first of them is simply a matter of respect. “If someone older enters the room you have to stand up and greet them as a sign of respect. If my mother comes in and my sister and I are there, we have to get up and say hello.“, began the brand new wife of Íñigo Onieva. Furthermore, when sitting at the table, your hands must always be visible and shouting is strictly prohibited.
Once the food was served on the plates, “It is not elegant to put on too much, unless you are my brother-in-law who is exempt because you burn a lot of calories.“, he continued with a laugh, possibly referring to Fernando Verdasco. Even so, although the quantities are monitored, they do allow you to repeat the dish, although not to scavenge them. Cell phones are also prohibited.
Pablo Motos and the grandchildren
Despite all these demands, Isabel Preysler has two people in her family whom, according to Tamara, she allows more things than the others: her grandchildren. “The other day, when neither Ana nor I had seen her all day, she arrived, opened the door, asked about my nephews, saw that they were not in the room and immediately left without greeting us.”, he commented. She also apparently allowed one of them to paint his favorite couch. “I don’t know what happens to their grandmothers with their grandchildren. “They forget the rules.”
In line with this string of rules, Pablo Motos has joked about a visit he made to Isabel Preysler’s house in which he had to put all these rules into practice. “I was at one of those dinners that your mother makes from time to time where you eat whatever you want one night. Suddenly food started coming out. We were eating in an absurd way and they start bringing out pasta dishes,” she recalled.
