The complaint by a teacher and a taxi driver against the driver of a truck whom they accuse of a reckless maneuver and a violent attack in the Castelli Park area, in La Plata, added a new chapter. Now, the owner of the largest vehicle defended himself against that accusation and assured that it was the taxi driver who broke the mirror of the Hilux, hit him and fled.

This was stated in a police complaint filed at the Fifth Police Station, which, as he pointed out, was made in advance of the exposure made by the taxi driver and the passenger. In addition, he said that he went after the carrier to request the insurance information.

The private driver affirmed that the taxi driver, aboard a Chevrolet Corsa, “caused damage to the right mirror” and that “he undertook the follow-up in order to obtain his data to exchange with the insurance.”

The owner of the Hilux also stated that the taxi driver was traveling with a woman who “got out violently, insulting her and hitting her with her fist, without causing any injuries.”

According to what he said, after this situation “the taxi driver started the march at high speed, for which he began the follow-up again, being intercepted by police personnel at 66 and 132, leading them both to the Third Police Station of Los Hornos.”

Likewise, he stated in the complaint that “a user with the name of the taxi passenger contacted him through social networks and insulted him,” while “he published images of the sequence on Facebook, making what happened go viral.”

It should be noted that initially the woman and the taxi driver pointed to the driver for a reckless maneuver, for breaking a taxi mirror and for reacting to the blows after reproaches from the carrier.
