True to form, the diplomatic representation of the European Union in Algeria has decided to launch a new mobility programme. And this, to allow many researchers and innovators to benefit from a trip to Italy, but also to Spain.
Indeed, in a press release made public on January 8, on its official page. The Delegation of the European Union in Algeria invites researchers. But also Algerian entrepreneurs, to register for the new mobility program, in particular the NEX-LABS project.

Why apply for the NEX-LABS mobility program?
The NEX-LABS program proposes to finance 20 mobility vouchers. Whose value is estimated at 2500 euros each. And this, in favor of 20 researchers wishing to participate in two fact-finding missions in the field of water, energy and food.
These two missions will be organized in Italy, during the period between March and next April. But also in Spain, between June and July 2023. The 20 candidates of this program will benefit from a subsidy to cover travel and accommodation costs, but also those of the conference.
In addition, the two missions organized within the framework of the NEX-LABS project aim to promote representations of these researchers and industries that explain current advances, future prospects and competitive advantages. In this wake, field visits will also be organized as part of these two missions. And this, to promote the exchange of expertise.
How to apply for this EU mobility program?
In its press release, the Delegation of the European Union in Algeria indicates that the last deadline for sending applications is set for January 15, 2023. And this, indicating the preference for the Italian or Spanish fact-finding mission.
The application file must be complete and sent as a single PDF file. The latter must include the candidate’s curriculum vitae, a cover letter. And another recommendation from his home institute. But also, a representation of the profile of the candidate and his research project (click here to submit an application).
Incomplete application files, and which do not meet the deadline. And the required areas will not be taken into account in the evaluation process.
