A Swedish singer Loreen, who won the last edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Tattoo’, returned to her home country this Tuesday, claiming to be proud of being the second person in the history of the event to have managed to win twice, reports the Associated Press.

“I’m incredibly happy,” said the artist, with a big smile, as soon as she landed at Stockholm’s international airport.

“On the plane back home, I had my first burst of joy and looked up at the sky. I’m incredibly happy about this. I’m so proud to have been chosen by Sweden”, added the singer.

Loreen, who was already carrying the trophy – a glass sculpture in the shape of a microphone – noted that it was “brutally heavy”.

Afterwards, the 39-year-old performed the ‘hit’ in a central Stockholm park – a popular spot known for its outdoor cafes and open-air concerts – before a crowd of hundreds. The concert was broadcast live on public television in the country.
