Samsung takes care of the design of the Galaxy A53, which is closer to the brand’s more premium models. As always, the South Korean firm offers a Super Amoled quality panel, here 6.5 inches enjoying a Full HD + definition. To top it off, we are entitled to a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz for smooth everyday navigation. Your content will be accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound thanks to the presence of two stereo speakers, not to mention compatibility with HDR10+.
On the animation side, the A53 embeds the Exynos 1280 chip, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. It’s not the fastest on the market, but it does very well for everyday use. Nevertheless, it will find its limits in play, you will have to lower your requirements for this use. Otherwise, it offers a smooth and pleasant user experience and already benefits from the new Samsung interface, OneUI 5, under Android 13 via an update.
Who will please the greatest number
Even with the A54 coming soon, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is a good investment. He has very serious arguments for him, such as benefiting from four years of major updates and five years of security updates. It’s the assurance of having a phone for a good number of years. Especially since it is durable enough to last all day long, thanks to its 5,000 mAh battery. To recharge it, it only takes 30 minutes to fill half of the battery.
In terms of photography, it offers great benefits with its camera which has four lenses. We are entitled to a main sensor with optical stabilization of 64 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle of 12 megapixels, a macro of 5 megapixels and a depth of 5 megapixels. It offers good versatility, even if the night mode lacks a bit of precision. The macro sensor is not very useful. The portrait mode is however very successful in this price range.
