The FC Bayern captain recently came under criticism, as did his teammates. Against Hertha BSC he was again the linchpin of the record champions and significantly involved in the success of his team. In the 2-0 win, Kimmich scored both of Bayern’s goals and thus deservedly became Man of the Match.
