The National government published the main guidelines of the plan for the promotion, improvement and strengthening of the procedures for the certification of disability. The objective of the measure is to simplify access, disseminate its scope and improve access tools.

According to Profilethe purpose of the decision is to seek the promotion, optimization and strengthening of “the procedures related to the certification of disability in Argentina, as a portal of access to rights, services and basic benefits”.

The text aims to disseminate the rights and services accessed by holders of the Single Certificate of Disability (CUD). In addition, it seeks to simplify access to the CUD, strengthen the tools linked to certification and reduce the gap between those who have the certificate and those who have not accessed it.

Among the guidelines set out in the document, the “incorporation of regulations related to digital signature” and the updating of “decentralization agreements with provincial jurisdictions and CABA, to optimize the relationship of the actors involved in the various processes” stand out.

At the same time, the need for the creation of a Interdisciplinary Implementation Table which “will be in charge of the design, development, implementation, execution and monitoring of the corresponding measures”.
