The provincial government, through the Ministry of Equality, Gender and Diversity and the Ministry of Production, Science and Technology of the Government of Santa Fe, signed agreements to install lactation facilities in five Industrial Parks throughout the province. On this occasion, it was Pérez’s turn, thus joining the El Trébol, Cañada de Gómez, Reconquista and Villa Constitución Industrial Parks.

In Pérez, this Wednesday the Minister of Equality, Gender and Diversity, Florencia Marinaro, signed the agreement with Mayor Pablo Corsalini. Also present at the event were the Secretary for Women, Gender and Diversity, Mailen Martínez Garat; the Undersecretary for Evaluation and Strategic Cooperation of Equality Policies, María Eva Bellini; the Undersecretary of Industrial Strengthening, Iván Piascik; the Director of Children and Adolescents of the Ministry of Health, Silvina Vaghetti; the coordinator of the Cuidar Santa Fe program, María José Geréz; the mayor of the Metropolitan Industrial Park, Germán Sama; officials of the Municipality of Pérez and representatives of the companies of the Park.

After the signatures, teams from the Ministry of Health and Gender, Equality and Diversity gave a training on breastfeeding. For his part, after the event, Marinaro toured the companies AC Ingeniería and Maincal together with the mayor of the Industrial Park and Pablo Corsalini.

“Today we signed the agreement to create a breastfeeding-friendly space in this park. Based on this, the province will transfer resources, not only economic, but also technical, for the construction and for the best use of the space by the people who need the place. It is a great achievement that care, health and also work can be reconciled in all the industrial areas of the province and also in a Park as important as this one. A stage of gender perspective, environmental perspective, employability, a good look and an example that we have to take to all corners of the province begins, ”said Marinaro.

In addition, he added that “the Breastfeeding Friendly Space that is going to be built is a prototype of the National Ministry of Health, it has to do with both breastfeeding and the extraction of breast milk. The place will be conditioned and will have all the comforts and will be part of the five lactarios of the same program that we will be building in Santa Fe”.

For his part, the mayor of Pérez, Pablo Corsalini, said that “this type of project fills us with pride. Talk about a broader look. We began to break some social stereotypes in order to really mature as a society”.

“Being able to reach an agreement among 50 businessmen who decide to advance these public policies, which have to do with a transversal, general, inclusive and facilitative perspective, really fills us with pride and encourages us to continue working and facing new challenges that the system and, above all, the productive sector puts us permanently” concluded Corsalini.

ABOUT LACTARIANS AND AGREEMENT SIGNATURES

The signing of the agreement with the mayor of Reconquista, Enrique Vallejos, for the lactation in the local industrial park was carried out on the occasion of the visit of the Minister of Equality, Gender and Diversity to the aforementioned city.

In the case of El Trébol, the agreement was signed on April 18 and the dairy will be installed in the industrial area of ​​said town. There were also present the undersecretary María Eva Bellini; in addition to the mayor Natalia Sánchez; the director of Production, Training and Employment, Mario Baudino and the technical assistant of the Secretary of Territorial Development and Roots, Jesica Ledesma.

For its part, in Cañada de Gómez the signing took place on April 19. The lactation facility will be installed in the Industrial Park of the mentioned locality. The Minister of Equality, Gender and Diversity, Florencia Marinaro and the coordinator of the Cuidar Santa Fe program, María José Gérez, as well as the mayor Stella Clérici participated.

For its part, there will also be a lactation facility in the Villa Constitución Industrial Park and its construction will take place based on the agreement signed with Mayor Jorge Berti.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The “Line to strengthen the Care Infrastructure for Parks and Industrial Areas of the Santa Fe territory” has as its main objective to contribute to a more equitable distribution of care between women and men that allow, in said areas of work, the reconciliation of this responsibility.

Among its lines of action are: the strengthening of Breastfeeding Spaces in Parks and Industrial Areas, to guarantee the extraction and conservation of breast milk in private, hygienic and safe conditions; the strengthening of Care Spaces in Parks and Industrial Areas, under the modality of Nurseries, Maternity and/or Kindergartens, toy libraries or any other format that may be considered for the purpose of ensuring the care of the children of the workers of the industrial complexes and contribute to the reconciliation between their work and family life; and the strengthening of Equal Opportunities actions in Parks and Industrial Areas that enable the development and recognition of the labor trajectories of workers.
