If you are passionate gamers, and one of your consoles was Sony Playstation, it is very likely that you have spent hours battling and breaking record after record in the Gran Turismo car game. The latter made its debut with the first chapter way back in 1998 and, thanks to its success, to date boasts the overall beauty of seven total titles which over the years have brought players new challenges supported by increasingly powerful technology. Like many other videogame hits, too Gran Turismo will enjoy a cinematic adaptation with the brand new film, produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Eagle Pictures, which will make its theatrical debut in August 2023. However, in the meantime, new official images have been released through which we can begin to take a first look at the production with the first Gran Turismo teaser.

Inspired by a true story, the film tells the fulfillment of the dream of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage Gran Turismo player, who thanks to his gaming skills wins a series of Nissan competitions to become a professional driver.
