A moment of tension, and also surprising, was experienced during the day of allegations of the trial for the murder of Fernando Báez Sosa.

The unexpected intersection was generated when the defense attorney for the eight defendants, Hugo Tomei, interrupted Fernando Burlando while he was making his presentation in front of the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) 1 of Dolores.

While Fernando Burlando was reading his allegations, Tomei broke in and said: “We know that the code says not to read it.”

“I apologize for the case to the doctor, but he is reading the memorial and I would prefer that he adjust to the pleading code so that what he is reading is a little more fluid. We know that the code says not to read it.”

And he continued: “I waited a long time, but I see that you read and read. I had contemplation”, to which Burlando replied: “There are many pages. And I will try not to do the same with you. I will be waiting for you, doctor”.

In that exchange, Judge María Claudia Castro asks both of them “not to talk” and for Burlando to continue with the argument, although she warned him that “we all know that you cannot read memorials.”
