The first webinar of the Webinar series “.NET 6.0/7.0 in practice” instead of. It provides developers with all the important information they need to migrate their developments to modern .NET. The six webinars, lasting more than 24 hours, also help anyone who wants to start a new development based on .NET 6.0 or 7.0.
“Modern .NET” means Microsoft’s development platform, which will be launched in autumn 2021 with .NET 6.0. It can be used to develop contemporary desktop applications with Windows Forms and WPF, web applications with ASP.NET, mobile apps based on Universal Windows Platform and .NET MAUI or Unity games.
The webinar is based on the current .NET. 7.0 While this November 2022 release is not a Long-Term Support (LTS) release, the innovations and work to improve code quality may well justify the migration to .NET 7. .NET 8.0, the next LTS release, is scheduled for November 2023.
.NET 6.0/7.0 = modern .NET
In the webinar series, developers learn about the practical use of modern .NET using a continuous, multi-layered case study. The dates at a glance:
Each webinar consists of four blocks of 45 minutes each from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each consists of explanations and demonstrations, sometimes there is also live coding by the experts.
The webinar series was designed by .NET doctor Holger Schwichtenberg, who is also responsible for the content implementation with his team of experts from www.IT-Visions.de.
