The home World Cup is fast approaching – the Lions’ final camp squad contains many new names: “The competition is getting tougher”

Several NHL reinforcements take place in the squad as the Lions sharpen their form before the World Cup. Compared to this week’s squad, thirteen new players are selected.

After Saturday’s loss against Sweden, Lions team manager Mika Kortelainen announced that there will be major changes in the squad for next week’s EHT tournament.

The squad has now been published and thirteen new players are joining the Lions. There are four players from North America, two from Sweden, three from Switzerland and four from the FM league.

Finnish champion Tappara has four players in the team: Christian Heljanko, Valtteri Kemiläinen, Mikael Seppälä and Waltteri Merelä.
