There were no equivalences in the youth friendly with the kids from Berazategui/GELP press
In Estancia, there were goals for all tastes. What at first was announced as a single friendly match against the Berazategui youth team (since the first team is in Mar del Plata carrying out the preseason with a view to the next Primera C tournament), ended up becoming offensive voracity of the triperos kids in “two games”, although to the 7-1 with which the first half ended, another 5 goals had to be added to reach the dozen for a formation that barely had four variants throughout the 80 minutes of match.
Beyond being the third team (completely made up of the club’s youth players), the combination of ambition and hope to win a place in a squad where there may be chances for almost everyone was a lethal cocktail for the visiting boys. In that first block of 40 minutes, the score ended 7-1, despite the fact that Berazategui’s midfielder, Castellano, was the author of the first goal of the morning.
Immediately, Sebastián Cocimano equalized the game and “Rayo” Riggio made it 2-1. From there, it was all the kids from “Chirola” who played without ever taking their foot off the accelerator. Cocimano once again, after a rebound from the goalkeeper before a header from Mammini; two consecutive goals from Ivo Mammini himself raised the score to 5, Rodrigo Gallo’s header shouted the sixth and again Sebastián Cocimano ended up rounding off the final 7-1 for the first half.
For the second block, it was decided to start 0-0 as if it were a new game, although the entries of Facundo Sánchez, Lautaro Álvarez and forwards Mateo Cardozo and Pablo Álvarez explain themselves that it was not another team. In that second half, the Tripero team prevailed 5-1 thanks to another two goals by Agustín Riggio, another goal by Ivo Mammini (who completed his own hat-trick and had scored two against Villa San Carlos last Saturday), one from Alexis Steimbach and the remaining goal cry from Pablo Álvarez. The goal from the admitted Irrazábal marked the new discount for Berazategui.
In short, the triperos kids scored a dozen goals against an inferior rival, but it is to highlight the desire of the youth players who played the game with the intensity of a game for the beans. It is that everyone took note that a week ago Rodrigo Castillo and Alan Sosa played at a good level against Villa and on Thursday they entered the first team against Montevideo City Torque.
