WASHINGTON – The late United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933-2020) has a postage stamp this week to celebrate her career and legacy.
The seal is a well-known portrait of Bader Ginsburg dressed in the judge’s robe and with her well-known lace collar.
In the words of USPS President Roman Martinez, Ginsburg “was an iconic figure who dedicated her life to public service and the pursuit of justice” and was also “a true pioneer.”

This stamp therefore serves as a tribute but also as “inspiration for future generations, so that they defend the values for which she fought,” Martinez added this Monday at the presentation of this stamp at the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s is a “forever stamp”, so it will always maintain the same shape and value, 66 cents, to remember the Brooklyn-born judge, who became a pop icon as a result of her vehement defense of women’s and homosexual rights.
