The key stroke is longer than on older Apple keyboards, resulting in comfortable typing, even during long use. Among the weak points, the integrated webcam only offers a resolution of 720p. The quality of the image is sufficient in itself, but an external webcam is still recommended. The battery life of the MacBook Air M1 is between 10h and 15h, depending on use.

The MacBook Air M1 is one of the best laptops on the market. At less than €1000 it’s a bargain. It comes with a 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM. The 8-core M1 chip performs just as well, even with the most resource-intensive tasks and applications. Safari, the iWorks suite, or your professional applications will run quickly and smoothly. In addition, the MacBook Air M1 is very quiet and almost does not heat up, even without fans.
The speakers deliver decent sound, but unfortunately aren’t on par with a pair of external speakers. For audio, use headphones. Finally, the MacBook Air M1 only has two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports.
