A battery is often one of the biggest criticisms pointed out by iPhone users to the Apple cell phone. However, have you ever thought that battery degradation could be your responsibility? As David Eluemunoh notes in one of his most recent TikTok videos, the error could be in the way he charges the iPhone.
The mistake is in charging the iPhone while it has a protective cover, since most of these accessories can cause the temperature reached by the battery during charging to be higher than it should be.
It is good to emphasize that these are tips given by Apple itself on the company’s customer support website. “Charging your device while inside certain cases can generate excess heat, which can affect battery capacity. If you notice that the device gets too hot while charging, remove the protective cover”, advises Apple.
Likewise, you should avoid using your mobile phone while it is charging, thus preventing the device from overheating.
