Sometimes you see things differently after one night. Even if he hasn’t slept himself, Martin wants to explain himself to Hans again. Martin’s apologies fall on deaf ears. His mother also gets Hans’ anger, especially when she accuses him of telling Lilli everything and not waiting for Martin. “Yes, yes, Mama. Martin, Martin, Martin. I really can’t hear it anymore.”

But his mother doesn’t give up that easily. She calls a family council. While Martin is unable to attend because of a patient, Hans immediately goes on a confrontation. He doesn’t want to talk about Martin’s expulsion. “What else has to happen that you’re not on Martin’s side, mom?” Lisbeth is not on Martin’s side, she just wants the four of them to be able to talk to each other again. “The four of us don’t exist anymore, mom”, Hans clarifies and explains that he wants to make the deal with the Pflugers as soon as possible. If Lisbeth was still hoping for Lilli’s support, she was disappointed: “Grandma, I’m sorry, but I think he’s right. Sorry.”
