Above all, Lisbeth is concerned that Hans never finds out about Martin’s fraud. Because Caro threatens to bring the truth to light, she talks to the sister of Hans’ deceased wife again and blames her for what is happening. “Yes he [Martin] made a mistake, a blatant mistake. But they are fine with it […] And now you come and want to destroy everything?“
Caro defends herself and her words seem to move something with Lisbeth. “Maybe it’s finally time for the truth to come out?” she says to Martin. “That you have to come to terms with your past.” Martin understands his mother, but says it’s not possible.
Maybe a letter from Sonja to her sister, which Caro gives him, will make him change his mind? In any case, the “Bergdoktor” episode ends with a conversation that could destroy the Gruber family. “Hans, I’ve been thinking for a long time about whether and where and how to start. And I’m afraid,” says Martin, “If I start, then this will be our last conversation.” Hans has no idea what his brother is talking about. “I lied to you, Hans.
