The national leader of BREADMarko Cortés Mendoza, called on society to defend the autonomy and integrity of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation before the attacks and aggressions of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

After supporters of the federal government, Morena and President López Obrador maintain a camp outside the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), where they launch slogans against the ministers of the Court, especially against its president, Norma Lucia Piña Hernández, the leader of the PAN said: “Where is the National Guard, the Army and security in the face of the hostility and attacks on the ministers? ?”.

“Morena and López Obrador must answer for the integrity of the ministers; the President is obliged to give protection and guarantees to those who represent the Powers of the Union”, expressed the leader.

He condemned that, day after day, the ministers suffer threats, insults, rudeness and that it is President López Obrador himself who incites hatred against them in his morning conferences.

Marko Cortés called on society, just as he did with the National Electoral Institute (INE), joins in the defense of the Court, “an institution that has become the most important counterbalance to power and that is the reason why the president now wants to minimize the budget, control and disappear,” Cortés said.

The leader of National Action criticized that President López Obrador proposed to disappear the trusts of the Judicial power of the Federationwith the argument of saving and supposedly to use the money of the poorest.

“If we talk about waste, López Obrador’s is monumental: 400,000 million pesos thrown in the trash just with the senseless creation and disappearance of insabiin addition to affecting the medical service of millions of people who lack social security,” he said.

The PAN member said that if the government wants to save, it must start by rescuing the 15,000 million pesos that were stolen from Segalmex; the 1,700 million pesos exercised with irregularities in the Mayan Train, the 2,420 million pesos invested in the Dos Bocas refinery or the alleged 100 million pesos that the friends of his son, Andrés, received through a network of corruption and drug trafficking influences.

“Almost 64,000 million pesos in irregularities pointed out by the Superior Audit of the Federation,” said the president of the PAN, which would be enough not to eliminate trusts that would affect thousands of workers in the Judiciary, since they would stop receiving pensions and medical benefits.

“To get revenge and pressure, this government intends to affect the families of the workers of the Judiciary, that is criminal,” concluded Cortés Mendoza.
