Laura is the beginning of the new “Dinner” week in Saarland. She wants to score with home cooking, but disappoints with her goulash.

“I think I could make sure nobody goes out here tonight and says, ‘Wow, That was awful!'”, Laura has complete confidence in her cooking skills. A week before her “The Perfect Dinner” performance, the nurse has one Test cooking with the family made: “That was a ride. I was there in the evening – woah. Then I thought to myself: My God, what have you gotten yourself into?”

Laura doesn’t worry that she doesn’t know her guests yet: “Since we’re in Saarland, I think it’ll be a totally relaxed and cool round.” She wants them under the motto “The main thing is to eat and drink” make you happy with home cooking. “I’m a dumpling fan,” says Jörg, looking forward to the main course. “Deer goulash needs one thing above all, namely time,” says Benny. Will it be a problem that Laura only at 5 p.m start preparing? The hostess trusts her quick stew: “It will taste very good, even if it only takes two hours.”

“The perfect dinner” takes place this week in Saarland.

Laura’s alone warm welcome in the stairwell convinces Benny: “It was already clear to me that this would be a good evening.” It starts with one Pumpkin Carrot Ginger Soup and a shrimp skewer. “The most important thing: It’s warm,” Benny has nothing to complain about the soup temperature. “I might have a little more power desired as far as the seasoning is concerned.” Jörg finds: “The shrimp is on point. Because you can mess that up.”

And how is the quick deer goulash with bread dumplings and Brussels sprouts? “Oh, that looks very good,” says Jörg’s eye. “I wouldn’t have thought that the deer would become so soft so quickly,” Petra cuts her meat in surprise. “There we all are a bit surprised“, admits Benny. Martin would have started the goulash earlier: “You should maybe stew something like that more slowly at a lower temperature.” He also lacks the seasoning: “The main course has for me a bit disappointed.” Jörg agrees: “I think it could have been done better.”

Chocolate critic praises “The Perfect Dinner”: “It’s delicious”

Everyone hopes for the chocolate cake a liquid core. Laura delivers what the guests want. “Oh yes, I can already see how it’s going,” Petra happily pricks her little cake. Jörg praises: “I’m not really a chocolate fan, but this one is delicious.” Martin reconciles the dessert with the disappointing main course: “Chocolate cakes I thought it was great!”

Laura starts the week with a solid 29 points and can now relax and be entertained by the others.
