And since we know today that this substance extracted from hemp has no psychoactive effect, unlike THC, we can – without fear but in moderation – add a shot of alcohol. Only condition: to have a little time in front of you, because the preparation requires several stages.

So to those who are lucky enough to benefit from this first extended weekend of spring, Marvin Landro, head bartender at Le Nectar, the pretty open table at the Maison Mère hotel, in the 9e arrondissement of Paris, offers the recipe for its latest creation, called “Pharmakos”, and dedicated to CBD.

The 30-year-old, who cut his teeth at the prestigious Mezcaleria – one of the Parisian cocktail temples – is convinced: it is with gin that CBD goes best. And more particularly a Hendrick’s, because “its very floral side and its note of rose resonate well with the herbaceous flavor of CBD”.

So yes, making a Pharmakos is more time-consuming than making a good old mojito, but the steps to go through are actually quite simple. And above all, the result is worth the time spent!

Le cocktail « Pharmakos »

Basic ingredients

– 150 ml whole milk

– 1.5 gr of CBD in bloom

– 200 ml gin

– 80 ml de sirop 130 herbes

– 100 ml jus citron vert

– 45 ml of absinthe liqueur

-100 lm of green chartreuse

-50 grams of sugar

1/prepare a “CBD milk”

Heat the oven to 110°C

Detail the CBD by removing as many branches as possible, then grind it

Put the CBD in the oven at 110 C° for 40 minutes

The CBD is cooked, put the whole milk and the CBD in a saucepan over low heat until boiling, then leave to cool in a cool place (without filtering)

2/Prepare the 130 herb syrup

Put 100 ml of green chartreuse and 50 g of sugar in a saucepan, and add the herbs and plants you want.

Cook over low heat until the sugar has completely melted

Leave to cool in the fridge.

3/Cocktail preparation

Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well

Leave to rest for at least 24 hours

After the minimum 24 hours, the liquid will have already started to separate thanks to the action of the lemon juice which causes the milk to curdle.

Finally, strain through a coffee filter
