So far this year, the Misiones Police detained more than 60 trucks that had entered the province through alternative roads, diverting the route sheet and without the corresponding documentation of the loads.

In addition, in different procedures carried out on the missionary routes, the provincial force seized more than 140 tires without customs guarantee and 6,300 liters of fuel that were illegally and dangerously transported in unauthorized vehicles.

These seizures were made in the town of Apóstoles, San Vicente, Capioví and Puerto Rico. With more than 40 interventions, it was possible to prevent the smuggling of vehicle covers and the illegal sale of fuel with an approximate cargo capacity of seven million pesos, according to official data.

Likewise, in different locations, the Police agents, together with the Misiones Tax Agency, intercepted and kidnapped 62 trucks transporting soybeans, corn and seed grains, which had entered illegally through alternative routes and without the corresponding cargo documentation. .

The seizures made by the Police in the first quarter of this year already exceed those of 2022 in the same period. This is due to the implementation of the Misiones territorial operation and the joint work with ATM, an app with a QR code began to be progressively implemented for greater control of transport loads and their destinations, the spokespersons indicated.
