It was on Friday afternoon that the rabbit was discovered in the wind shelter by the lake in Kyrkhult, something BLT first reported on. There was also a transport cage, harness and bags.
A man who discovered the rabbit called for the owner in a group on Facebook, where Emma Börjesson saw the post.
– I asked if he had taken care of it, but he couldn’t because of an allergy. Then I felt that I take it for so long that it is taken care of and gets water, food and warmth.
“Terrible”
She questions why the previous owner didn’t hand the rabbit in to a pet store or try to find a new home in other ways, but left it outdoors when it was also cold outside.
– It’s terrible, it’s still a family member, she says.
Now she has found a permanent family for the rabbit.
– It has been nice. It is a very social little guy or gal. It likes to come forward and sniff, says Emma Börjesson.
