On January 18, 2020, Fernando Báez Sosa was cruelly murdered in the streets of Villa Gesell. More than 3 years after the fact, the Justice has to make the decision on the sentence that will be given to the murderers and although the majority intends that it be perpetual for all, the truth is that it is likely that some will receive a lesser sentence in relation to their participation in the crime.
Hugo Tomei, the rugbiers’ lawyer, assured that the murder was not proven and asked for the acquittal of his defendants, although he later opened the game, he assured that there was no fraud and even raised the possibility that it was considered a homicide in a fight or a simple homicide with eventual intent with the distribution of penalties as the court understands it.
The only certainty is that Graciela and Silvino no longer have their son because a group of friends who were playing rugby decided to kick him to death.
