Tesla’s futuristic-looking Cybertruck has been around since 2019. So far, however, the vehicle is not available for purchase. The last plan was to bring the electric car onto the market in 2023. Despite other statements, a cybertruck is not expected this year. During a conference call on Tesla’s latest earnings results said Company boss Elon Musk that the mass production of the electric pickup will not begin before 2024. He still expects production to start “sometime this summer,” but warned that production will be “very slow” initially. Tesla is still in the middle of installing the assembly facilities. Incidentally, fans of this type of e-car can also take a look at the Ford F-150 Lightning, the GMC Hummer EV or the Rivian R1T.
