In the images, the most complicated of the defendants can be seen being expelled from Le Brique while making a threatening gesture

This Monday, on the sixth day of the trial for the crime of Fernando Baez Sosadeclared for more than two hours the secretary of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Pablo Labordewho with a dozen videos managed to chronologically reconstruct what happened that morning of January 18, 2020 in which the group of rugby players beat the young man to death at the exit of a bowling alley in Villa Gesell.

One of the film records analyzed in the trial shows maximum thomsen being kicked out of the Le Brique dance venue by local security personnel.

The video was released – and broadcast by infobae– 12 days after the crime occurred. In the images you can see when two patovicas take Thomsen out of the bowling alley: one takes him by the neck in the middle of the dance floor -and among the crowd- in order to control him. Unlike the rest, they had to apply an “immobilizing key” to the main defendant to contain him due to the resistance he put up when he was expelled.

The young man is seen completely upset and pointing his finger at another group of people, but it is not possible to identify who the gesture was directed at.

This Monday declared Ramon Alberto Rueda, who works in the Villa Gesell subdivision. His task was to transcribe the video in question: “It shows a patovica struggling by the neck with a male, who points his finger at a boy and makes a sign with the index finger under the neck and chin”. However, the witness did not specify who he made the gesture to. “To the crowd,” he said.

One of the 47 witnesses who testified last week was Alejandro “Chiqui” Munoz, the head of security at Le Brique at the time of the Báez Sosa crime. Despite his physical build (he is 2.03 meters tall and weighs 150 kilos) he said that he needed to ask for help to expel Thomsen from the bowling alley.

Muñoz gave his testimony on the third day of the trial along with two other security employees of the dance venue who intervened in the fight and let out the group that Báez Sosa was with and the rugbiers.

Another of the patovicas, Cristian Ignacio Gomez, explained that the incident took place at the moment that “a pogo was put together” during the show at Le Brique that night, by the trap artist Neo Pistea.

He said that “he ended up calming down and reducing Matías Benicelli with his arms behind his back.” He also explained that when she was preparing to take it out of the kitchen door, a person appeared “with alienated, crazy face”, who put a hand on his shoulder and ordered him not to take Benicelli out. “That person turned out to be maximum thomsen”, he added.

This Tuesday the trial will continue with the analysis of the secretary of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Pablo Laborde, before the Oral Criminal Court No. 1 of Dolores. Today the analysis of the content of the cell phones of the defendants will continue.

In the reconstruction of the events that he carried out this Monday, based on the videos, Laborde recounted what happened between 4:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on January 18, 2020.

Among the videos that were projected yesterday, there were three that show the moment of the criminal beating: the one from Lucas Pertossi’s cell phone, one recorded from the same sidewalk as the nightclub and another captured from the front of Le Brique. Laborde identified in the registered from the dance venue a Cyrus Pertossi and Thomsen, of whom half a body can be seen, but kicking.

Of Fernando Báez Sosa he maintained that “he had a naked torso” and said that “they attacked him from front and from behind”. However, he could not specify who delivered the blows. “It is not possible to identify if the first blow was given by Ciro Pertossi or by a person behind and that he is wearing brown bermuda shorts and a white long-sleeved shirt rolled up,” he added.

In addition to Laborde, today he will testify: the criminalist, Maria Eugenia Cariacwhich was summoned to provide details on the presumed similarity between the Cyclone shoe used by the defendant Thomsen, and the print on the face of the victim; Maria Lujan Elvira Molina, who intervened in the expertise to establish the measurements of the feet of the accused; Y haydee almironwho was summoned to provide reference to the scopometric expertise that compared the drawing of the soles of the shoes seized from the defendants with the print found on the victim’s face.

They will close the seventh day Sandra Ana Moreno Rodriguezwitness of a seizure made at the Villa Gesell police station, and david larrosawho witnessed the taking of the plantar impression of the defendants.
