Elche (Alicante), Jul 31 (EFE).- Elche has announced this Monday the addition to its squad for one season of full-back Mario Gaspar.
The player from Novel, the fourth signing of the Elche team for next season, was trained in the Villarreal youth academy, with whom he made history in the first team, and comes from English Watford.
Mario Gaspar has more than 300 matches in the First Division with the Castellón team, in which he became one of the most important players since his debut.
The winger was champion of the Europa League in 2021 with Villarreal and international with the Spanish team, both in the senior and lower categories.
The 32-year-old from Novel will join the training dynamics of the Elche team this Tuesday, according to the club in a statement. EFE
