LFIFA and the European Broadcasting Union have agreed to extend their collaboration to ensure that the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 be broadcast open through EBU channels in 34 European territories.

EBU members, including ARD/ZDF (Germany), RTVE (Spain), France Televisions (France), RAI (Italy) and BBC/ITV (United Kingdom), will also help publicize the tournament through their channels as part of the EBU’s long-term strategy to foster the development of women’s football in Europe and other regions.

FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023, the first held in the southern hemisphere and in the Asia-Pacific region, it will face 32 teams, eight more than the 2019 edition, and will consist of 64 matches. The opening duel will take place on Thursday, July 20, and the grand final will be held on August 20 at the Australia Stadium (Sdney/Gadigal).
