The Nintendo Wii it marked an era in the video game industry, offering gamers the possibility of moving to activate what they saw through the screens. Its Wii Remote controls that detected movements in a three-dimensional plan allowed it to be a console for the whole family.
Launched in November 2006, the Wii was Nintendo’s sixth video game console and belonged to the seventh generation of video game consoles, replacing the remembered GameCube and competing with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Currently, there are video games for all ages and even older adults can have fun with a controller in their hands. Example of this is the story of a couple of grandparents who won a Wii tournament.

According to a report published on the website of IGN Latin America, an elderly couple managed to win the championship in a Wii Sports bowling tournament.
In some countries, older people have video games as a hobby, so they can practice and participate in these types of activities.
“Jeanine, 96, and Gilbert, 85, won a Wii Bowling LAN in France this weekend We need more of this”Influencer Jake Lucky wrote on Twitter, sharing a video of the elders’ feat.
