President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will be this weekend in Quintana Roo, on a routine visit to monitor the progress of the construction of Section 6 of the mayan train.

The governor Mara Lezama confirmed that he will accompany the president to the towns of Nicolás Bravo, Leona Vicario and Limones.

He explained that, in Nicolás Bravo, belonging to the municipality of Othon P. Blanco, yes there will be a whereabouts mayan trainalthough its location will be specified after the meeting led by the president this Saturday right there.

Mara Lezama He also referred to the conflict that currently exists with the members of the Laguna Om ejido, in Nicolás Bravo, who do not agree that the original plan that left the whereabouts in their community had been modified.

They assure that this whereabouts was an agreement that was reached in an assembly in November of last year, when the ejidatarios ceded to the government 120 hectares for the route of the mayan trainin exchange for having this point that would favor them for the development of the area.

However, a modification to the original plan sent the whereabouts to five kilometers from Kohunlich, which has generated discomfort and a series of protests.

“In this type of project there are always problems, but in the end I insist on the issue of resolving the differences, reaching agreements, but there will be whereabouts in Nicolás Bravo,” Lezama called.
