The Children’s Republic of the silver It will add a key attraction for tourism and for the little ones: a scaled and moving dinosaur park, unprecedented for the region. The venture, which will be called “Dinopark”is already underway on the property of gonet.
The new theme park that will open -with a date to be confirmed- is similar to the ride “Dino Land”located in technopolis, which has scale specimens of Argentine dinosaurs that inhabited millions of years ago. “It is a village of different types of dinosaurs. They will be to scale, with movement and with explanations by paleontologists, in the ‘Jurassic Park’ style,” sources from the Municipality told 0221.com.arwhile confirming that the works are already underway.
The park is a private enterprise that will be carried out in association with the National University of La Plata (UNLP), which will provide all the expertise for the design of the copies that will be part of the new attraction of the Republic of Children. In fact, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Museum has been carrying out the classic cycle every year for a long time. “Vacation with the Dinosaurs”.
The “Dino Park” will also include a themed café, which will be called “Dino Cafe”. In this way, the dinosaur ride will be added to the Farm, the Aerolíneas Argentinas Plane, the Boat ride and the Mechanical Games park, among other attractions that operate in the Repu, considered the first theme park in Latin America and the model in which other parks in the world were inspired. “It is unprecedented for the region and it will be very good for the boys,” added sources from the Commune.
The project generates a lot of enthusiasm in the local government and, in particular, in the EMATUR authorities, who consider that it will give a strong boost to local tourism. Today, this activity represents 5.8% of the Gross Product of La Plata.
