MIAMI.- The second edition of Billboard Latin Women in the Music, recognition that seeks to honor the talents women whose careers have a positive impact on music, will take place on June 9 at 9:00 pm (Eastern time) and will be broadcast on Telemundo.

Through a statement, Billboard noted that the gala will last two hours and aims to: “celebrate female Latin artists who work proactively to generate positive changes, inclusion and gender equity in the music industry.” .

Billboard Latina Women in Music will not only honor the most influential Latina artists in the global music industry, it will also feature special performances to be announced later.

The event is produced by Telemundo Center in Miami and will be broadcast on the Telemundo channel, and the streaming of Telemundo and Peacock.

So far, Billboard has not announced who the award-winning artists will be in this second edition.

In 2023, Shakira was recognized as Woman of the Year; while Ana Gabriel obtained the Living Legend award, Thalia the Global Powerful, Maria Becerra was recognized as Visionary, Emilia as Rising Star, Evaluna as Tradition and Future, and Goyo as Agent of Change.
