MIAMI.- The long-awaited return of 1900 Park Fare has become possible. After several years closed, one of the restaurants most emblematic of Disney reopens its doors with a complete renovation: interior design, menu and characters that create a comfortable environment in the heart of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Orlando.
Preserving the essence of its concept, which recreates the magic and sweetness of Victorian carousels, 1900 Park Fare offers a special culinary experience, with buffet breakfasts and dinners that move away from the fast and conventional proposal of most hotels in the area. tourist area of the city.
The first big surprise is that the famous strawberry soup, an iconic dish of this place, returns with all its color to delight palates of adults and children; Of course we tried it by adding fresh strawberries and a good portion of cream.
Breakfast offerings include meat and potato hash, cheesy potato casserole, and irresistible cinnamon rolls. For dinner, new options range from Tianas Gumbo with spicy andouille sausage to porchetta with hunter sauce.
The cocktails are varied and there are delicious non-alcoholic options, such as the So Many Wishes or the Lavender Lemonade.
Regarding desserts, we could make a long and tempting list, but we were especially struck by the lemon and blueberry cheesecake, and a warm chocolate cake with creme anglaise that reminded us of an Austrian dessert that is traditionally prepared in Venezuela.
