The Coast Guard is working today to search for an undocumented person who would have jumped from a boat intercepted on Thursday off the coast of Aguadilla.
According to Telenoticias, two other people had also jumped from the boat when they saw the authorities, but they were rescued.
In the 30-foot-long, gray boat, 33 people were traveling -29 men and four women- of undefined immigration status. It had been detected about 12 miles off the coast of Punta Borinquen in Aguadilla at about 5:30 am on Thursday.
The arrest occurred in the middle of a preventive maritime patrol.
