Elements of the Cansahcab Municipal Police stopped to a subject who posed as a “witch” to collect 2 thousand pesos from his victims in Yucatan.

The arrest was registered on Thursday in the aforementioned municipality, after the man passed by the houses offering his ‘healer’ services.

Elements of the Municipal Police of the community implemented an operation to find the whereabouts of the charlatan, who was located near the center of the population.

When questioned, the man identified himself as Rey Luis Romero and indicated that he intended to take a taxi to the city of Mérida, however, upon being reported, he was arrested and transferred to the public jail, pending the corresponding complaint.
