End with a devotional yodel

At the devotional yodel, following the blessing of God requested by Father Guido Kobiec, everyone was finally invited to sing along. Among those present at the concert, who were warmly welcomed by the association’s chairman, Ulrike Bitschnau, were personalities such as the mayor of Bürser Georg Bucher and the former Schnifner community leader and passionate musician Anton Mähr. “A b’sundere Zit” also gave great pleasure to Sonja Burtscher from the office of the regional costume association, as well as Angelika Schrottenbaum, Irmgard Oswald, Christa Tschugmell and Anna Tschugmell from the “Bürscher” costume wearers’ association.

The Landestrachtenverband has about 4,500 members; they are organized in 60 member associations. The association endeavors to preserve and maintain Vorarlberg’s traditional costumes and local customs. On the 1st Sunday in Advent next year, the association will be a guest in Lingenau in the Bregenzerwald with “A b’sundere Zit”.
