They arrest a member of a gang dedicated to robbing Latino restaurants in Miami

Eduardo Marel Aguilar-Portillo was brought to justice with serious accusations, after he participated in an armed robbery along with other individuals.

According to reports, the victim parked his vehicle in front of a restaurant in Little Havana and an individual in a gray sweatshirt and face mask approached him and threatened him with a firearm, before taking $2,000 in cash.

While that was happening, another thief assaulted a second victim, after pointing a firearm at his face and seizing his wallet and iPhone phone. Both fled in a car.

Florida 11th Circuit Court Judge Mindy S. Glazer forbade him from approaching the victims and did not give him bail.

Glazer told him during his court hearing: “The charge is armed robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon. Do you understand the order to keep away, sir? Excuse me, corrections, did this gentleman have any immigration issues or not? I just brought it up so many times today.”

The police caught them following the location of the phone and the second suspect was identified as Kenny Josué Fiallo.

Police say that Aguilar-Portillo, along with Fiallo and Jennifer Murillos belong to a gang that was dedicated to robbing Latin food restaurants in Miami.
