Juarez City.- The Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) reported today the arrest of Víctor Manuel MR for his alleged responsibility in the crimes of extortion, falsification or alteration and improper use of documents, usurpation of functions and/or whatever results, after he was accused of posing as a state government employee.

The probable crime was reported to the community number of the University District Police Station (656-218-57-32), so municipal agents went to a pharmacy located at the intersection of Los Insurgentes and Damián Carmona avenues, in the neighborhood El Barreal.

“Upon arriving at the place, they met with the victim, who denounced that moments before a subject arrived at his business identifying himself as a State Government worker, who briefly showed him a gold-colored plate,” the SSPM said in a statement. .

“This man accused her of selling controlled medication without a prescription and that for this reason she would have to pay a fine and to avoid it, he demanded money in exchange for not accusing her before the corresponding instance, for which the complainant gave him the amount of 500 pesos, likewise said subject left a telephone number so that he could communicate when he collected more money, to later leave the place, “added the text.

It indicates that, after a search based on the characteristics provided about the accused, he was located at the intersection of Damián Carmona and 20 de Noviembre streets, also in El Barreal, and that “he was approached, identifying himself as a state agent with various apocryphal documents.

For this reason, the SSPM indicated, and before the direct indication, “this person, identified as Víctor Manuel MR, 35 years old, was placed under arrest” and, after reading his rights, consigned before the corresponding authority.
