Mexico City.- New videos from the security cameras of the La Polar canteen on January 8, when a client was murdered, have been disseminated through the social network Twitter.

In these four, two moments prior to the murder of Antonio Monroy are evident: a fight between two of Monroy’s companions and the discussion between him and the establishment’s head of security.

The first video, recorded at 7:54 p.m., shows one of the women, who is wearing a white shirt, attacking the other diner who was sitting at the same table as her, Antonio Monroy, and another man.

Both women are immediately separated by Monroy and the other companion.

In another of the videos, the mobilization of La Polar staff appears to calm the situation. Even the head of security known as Gama appears among the group of people.

In the second video, at 7:57 p.m., the attacked woman and the second man disappear from the recorded area, presumably because they left the place.

In later recordings Antonio Monroy and the woman who started the attack appear, as they remain near his table to pay the bill and thus leave.

However, it is in the seconds after that Gama and Antonio Monroy begin to argue verbally and the camera even manages to capture when the head of security pushes the client.

“The person responsible for the death and murder of Mr. Antonio Monroy in the polar #lapolar known in said restaurant as “Gama” or Sergio Gama. Please spread RT,” spread the same account that published the videos of the establishment.

This Friday, two men were linked to the process for violating the closure seals of La Polar.

The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office explained that in recent days both were detained by police when they left the premises. They are Braulio Gerardo and Óskar David, who will remain in justified preventive detention.
