Mexico City.- Alec Baldwin was photographed on the set of Rust, shooting part of his scenes in which his character is led to the gallows to be hanged.
In images obtained by Page Six, the actor was seen bleeding before two men carried him to his death.
A noose was seen being placed around Baldwin’s neck on set, though it is unknown if the actual hanging will be shown in the Joel Souza-directed film.
The actor’s return to filming comes a week after criminal charges against him for the fatal 2021 shooting of Halyna Hutchins were dropped.
In an April 20 statement, prosecutors Jason Lewis and Kari Morrissey said they could not “proceed under the current time constraints and on the facts and evidence provided by law enforcement in its current form.
“Therefore, we will dismiss the manslaughter charges against Mr. Baldwin for further investigation,” his statement continued, before adding that the charges could be brought again against Baldwin.
After being cleared of the charges, the actor thanked his fans in Montana for their support as filming on the movie resumed.
