They confirm the death of Puerto Rican actor Kamar de los Reyes

MIAMI.- He actor Puerto Rican Kamar de los Reyes, famous for his role in One Life to Live the villain Antonio Vega, died after being diagnosed with cancer. The interpreter’s family was in charge of confirming to the magazine People the death.

Life and career

Kamar de los Reyes was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 8, 1967, but grew up in Las Vegas, where he demonstrated a talent for acting and dancing.

Later, in the 1980s, de los Reyes moved to Los Angeles, where he sought the artistic opportunities that would lead him to establish himself as an actor in Hollywood. However, Kamar also tried his luck on stage and managed to get the role of Pedro Quinn in the off-Broadway play, Blade to the Heat.

The 56-year-old actor leaves behind his wife, actress Sherri Saum, and their three children: Caylen, 26, from a previous relationship, and twins Michael and John, 9, children in common with Saum.

He is also survived by his parents Matilde and Walfredo, and his siblings Daniel, Walfredo Jr., Lily and Ilde.
