Moments of shock are experienced in the neighboring city of Ensenada, where local authorities confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of Máximo Jesús Díaz. The 17-year-old teenager had thrown himself into the waters of the Río de la Plata and disappeared on the afternoon of last Saturday.
The discovery occurred in the last hours, around noon this Sunday, when Rescuers deployed to the scene found the victim’s body floating about 30 meters from the area where it had been last seen, in the vicinity of Santiago Island.
Although it is still unknown for sure what happened, Several of his friends told the authorities that the boy would have thrown himself into the water despite not knowing how to swim and in that context he would have been dragged by the current, finding himself unable to get out..
