Juarez City.- Christopher Andrés Campos left his house last Friday at 10 in the morning, when a friend came for him to go together to El Paso, Texas.
This is how his mother posted it on his Facebook social network profile hours later. Later, the little information she shared was shared on the page “Disappeared from Ciudad Juárez”, when she lost communication with the 16-year-old teenager.
Christopher Andrés’s relatives also shared his photos and data on social networks, seeking the support of the public to find his whereabouts.
That same day, shortly after one in the afternoon, at the intersection of Barranco Azul streets and Juan Gabriel road axis, just 600 meters from the Ciudad Juárez Military Garrison, the corpse of a man with traces of burns all over the body.
The attackers tried to burn the corpse, which days later was officially identified as Christopher Andrés Campos, revealed personnel from the Social Communication area of the District Attorney’s Office in the North Zone.
According to the report of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), as first responders, the human remains were located in the 12 de Julio neighborhood at a point where there are several video surveillance cameras, with no data on the murderer(s) to date. , investigators from the State Attorney General’s Office reported unofficially.
Official information states that on Friday, around 1:06 in the afternoon, a report was made of a man lying face down on the train tracks, with burns all over his body.
There was no further data that would allow the location of the people responsible for leaving the body there, the municipalities reported.
The man was lying on the intersection of Barranco Azul streets and Juan Gabriel road axis, as far as elements of the SSPM, State Investigation Agency, National Guard and Mexican Army arrived.
Christopher Andrés was 16 years old, dark-skinned, and at the time of his disappearance he was wearing black pants, a black T-shirt, a cap, and a backpack.
The body was handed over to the family after official recognition; meanwhile, the case is being investigated by agents of the Specialized Unit for Crimes Against Life.
