Misiones Police officers kidnapped 8 trucks with grain loads that evaded the entry controls to the province. In this way, in the first days of the year, more than 316 thousand kilos of corn and soybeans were seized between the Police and the Misiones Tax Agency.
The first intervention was carried out last Wednesday on national route 14 at the height of Dos de Mayo, where the agents of the General Directorate of Road Safety and Tourism stopped the march of a Volkswagen truck and a Mercedes Benz, which did not have the mandatory documentation for the transport of loads. Each one was carrying 8,000 kilograms of corn, which were seized along with the two vehicles.
On the other hand, last Friday in a control made again on the national route 14 at the height of the aforementioned town, they intercepted another two trucks that transported grains. Both vehicles carried corn in bulk outside the established destination route and carried a total of 64,980 kilograms g, which were seized along with the trucks.
In other deployments, the Police detained five trucks, the first two in Apóstoles, on Provincial Route 1, where they seized a Scania and a Mercedes Benz along with 65 tons of soybeans, which had entered through alternative roads in the rural area, to avoid ATM controls While on Dos de Mayo, they seized three vehicles and a total of 98 thousand kilograms of corn, deviating from the stipulated route.
Lastly, on Tuesday morning, in a control carried out on Route 14 at kilometer 845, the Police once again intercepted a Fiat Iveco truck that was loaded with 71,110 kilograms of soybeans, far exceeding the weighing established for circulation. in routes. That is why they hijacked the vehicle along with the shipment.
It should be noted that these withholdings are carried out due to the different irregularities mentioned above and, furthermore, all the kidnappings were transferred to the Misiones Tax Agency, where they continued with the corresponding procedures.
