The Minister of the Interior shared an audio of the Vice President at the Justicialista Party meeting held in the northern province

Just a few hours after Alberto Fernandez communicated his decision to step down from re-election – and while most national officials echoed his statements – Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro publicly issued the first message of Cristina Kirchner after the news

It was in the PJ Congress carried out this Friday in Santiago del Estero where the Minister of the Interior, who is one of the closest to the Vice President, was in charge of playing an audio that CFK had sent him privately minutes before he went on stage.

It was a voice note that was far from the statements that, in parallel, other pro-government leaders were making, who echoed the decision recently communicated by the head of state.

Both Cristina Kirchner and the Minister of the Interior were one of the few who did not publicly echo Alberto Fernández’s resignation from re-election. The latter only expressed himself on his social networks regarding his participation in the meeting held in the province governed by Gerardo Zamora, who did show his support for the head of state for his decision.
