From April 9 to 16, the candidates for the governorship of the State of Mexico Alejandra del Moral (PRI, PAN and PRD) and Delfina Gómez (Morena, PT and PVEM), proposed to create a gender police in the entity, to combat the high levels of violence against women, to the creation of unemployment insurance for Mexicans.

Gómez spoke of the creation of a Gender Police, which combats crimes against women; transform the entity’s security agencies; provide better training and purify the police forces; address femicides and disappearances and prevent crimes on public transport.

In addition, he indicated that he will increase the number of security cameras during his six-year term, will work with criminologists to avoid overcrowding in Mexican prisons, and proposed to meet immediately with families of victims of femicide.

On the other hand, he affirmed that he will finish nine hospitals that past administrations left unfinished; have sufficient personnel and a supply of medicines in the medical facilities; increase the state budget allocated to the countryside, and reduce the salary of senior officials.

This during his visit to different municipalities in the State of Mexico, including Isidro Fabela, Cuautitlán Izcalli, San Felipe del Progreso, Temascalcingo, Soyaniquilpan, Jilotepec de Molina Enríquez, Cocotitlán, Temamatla, Juchitepec, Tenango del Aire, Amecameca de Juárez , and Tlalmanalco.

For his part, Del Moral, through a meeting with education professionals in Toluca, proposed the simplification and streamlining of the professional teaching career system, decent wages, and the implementation of a system of incentives and rewards for teachers in the state. .

The PRI assured that it will strengthen the permanent basis of places, so that the teachers can obtain their basic certificate. Similarly, all schools will have full teacher rosters.

On the other hand, the applicant, from the municipality of Ixtapaluca, announced the rehabilitation of classrooms, sanitary modules and perimeter fences in schools.

On security issues, Del Moral proposed the creation of the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes and the improvement of public transportation to reduce the crime rate.

Likewise, the candidate announced the delivery of direct support to women in the countryside, in addition to the creation of unemployment insurance.
