Some fishermen in NassauBahamas, they rescued a baby shark that was dying trying to get out of a plastic bag, on the shore of a beach.
The person who discovered the shark carried out the animal rescue operation perfectly. She pulled the bag out of the sea with a hook, removed it and held the baby shark behind the gills, making sure not to cut off its breathing and avoiding getting close to its mouth so as not to be bitten.
The tail would not have been a good area to hold the shark as it is very flexible and slippery. After removing the plastic bag, the fisherman quickly returned the little shark to the water. He had very limited contact with the animal.
This baby shark is of the species known as the nurse or cat. It lives on the seabed and can measure up to 4 meters in length. The baby shark was lucky enough to find the right person at the right time.
