Juarez City.- A hundred children want to have a gathering to celebrate April 30. Minors go daily to the El Refugio Children’s Dining Room, located in the Carlos Chavira neighborhood.

Maribel Chávez, the person in charge of the place, mentioned that this year they would not have a celebration due to the precarious situation they are going through, however, seeing that the minors lack recreational activities, she thought of gathering food to prepare salads and jellies for them.

“We don’t have to complete the week, there are days when there is nothing, only with the help of my husband and the support of some people we have been able to get ahead, but right now I saw those children who arrived without shoes, hungry and that they don’t even have enough for a pencil, that’s when I think I have to ask for people’s help so that at least that day they have a little gift, have fun and forget a bit about all the bad things they’re having,” he said. Chavez.

He said that they require citizens to share food, drinks, sweets, a cake, jellies, piñatas and drinks, as well as shoes, school supplies, clothes for babies and children to give them a gift.

The children’s dining room is located on Calle Atrás Quedó la Huella, number 1903, in the Carlos Chavira neighborhood.
